1. Steps for Poster Making in Canva:
Step1: Open your web browser and type www.canva.com
Step 2: Once you get the home screen of canva- in a search tab type poster
Step 3: Once you type select poster you will get the screen as shown below:
In this screen you will find a number of Predefined templates, but we are just going to choose the first option i.e, ceate a blank Poster.
Step 4: Once we select blank Poster- it will redirect you to next screen a shown below:
Select the template of your choice. You can also search for your fav template using the search option.
Step 5: Once you click on the desired template that template can be seen in the Art board (area on the right side of screen) we can keep adding on multiple posters by clicking on plus icon on the top or add page option at the bottom.
Step 6: Once we add a template , we can add elements by clicking on element options.
Once we click on an element option we can get number of options and we can use them as per our requirements.
Lines and shapes: we can click on the “see all “option next to lines and shapes. We can see all lines and shapes and choose the desired lines and shapes.
Graphics: we can click on the “see all “option next to Graphics and we can see all Graphics and choose the desired one.
Stickers: we can click on the “see all “option next to Stickers and we can see different categories of stickers .
You can click on the category of sticker you want and click on see all options to choose.
Step 7: Once we are done with adding elements. We can start adding text by using text option from left
You have to click on the add text box . Once we click on the add text box we can start writing in the text box.
We can add heading and sub heading using heading and subheading options.
Step 8: Once we have added text we can use the draw option also if we require.
With the help of draw option we can use: Pen, Marker, Highlighter, Eraser to Edit our Poster.
Step 9: Once our poster is ready you can download it now. Steps to download a poster:
Click on the file tab on the editor menu bar. Once you click on file Option a drop down menu will appear.
You can see the download option.
Once you click on the download option. You will see the download option on the right side of the screen.
Select the required format as shown below:
Once you select the format click on the download option as shown below:
Your poster is saved in downloads.
